Project Update

HDCC has successfully driven 11 piles in the UH Urban garden area. This week, they are scheduled to finish the last 7 test piles then they will pause for field testing. Once all field tests are completed, pile driving will resume in the area. On Waihona Street, HDCC continues with the installation of the main water line. Work this week is scheduled to be in front of Oasis Environmental Group near the intersection of Waihona Place and Waihona Street. On Kamehameha Highway, HDCC are in two intersections, Waihona Street and Kuala Street. Turning lanes in these intersections are still open. Please be alert for all traffic controls in the area. HDCC and NAVFAC Hawaii are actively monitoring all county, state and federal announcements on the COVID-19 pandemic. Any and all recommendations and requirements will be reviewed and implemented as necessary to create a safe environment for all workers, businesses, residents, and patrons to the area.
